The CommonsLab implements a non-hierarchical Peer-to-Peer structure between its team members. All members have equivalent rights in the team. Tasks in CommonsLab are organized into Projects. Each project has at least one coordinator, whose role is to motivate and coordinate other people involved in that project.

Decisions will be taken on consensus based on facts, rather than opinion, where possible. For non trivial decisions the reasoning and outcome of the consesus will be documented. Desicions are taken according to the following priorities:

  • Following our Principles
  • Financial and social sustainability of CommonsLab
  • Well being of the CommonsLab members
  • Good relations with relevant communities
